The reality of the Jews as the Chosen Nation is clear throughout Tanaj. In numerous places the Torah states that the Jewish Nation is separate, holy and G-d’s treasured nation. This concept is also a central tenet of Judaism, as we see it displayed in many parts of Tefillah and Jewish customs.
