What is Pinterest?

Pinterest is a content sharing service that allows members to “pin” images, videos and other objects to their pinboard. Forbes reports here that Pinterest is the third largest social network. What’s more, Business Insider recently reported that Pinterest is the fastest growing site ever! If you are looking to market your website or initiatives to a greater audience—and (although this is beginning to shift) certainly to women—then you very well may want to consider joining Pinterest.

In addition to people having their own personal Pinterest boards, there are many reform and conservative groups that are using it to drive traffic to their website. After all, as noted herePinterest brings more referral traffic than Twitter and…Google!
