In a previous post (see AlHaTorah.org: New Website Helps You Teach, Study, & Research Tanach Like Never Before!), we featured AlHaTorah.org, a new one-stop Tanach study resource, which provides free tools, techniques, and user-friendly technology to make Tanach come alive in your home, at a Shabbos table, in your classroom or even in a drasha!

They have recently updated their site (see here) with a special section to help all those who study or teach Ramban al HaTorah. This new resource for Ramban al HaTorah comes with a very thorough introduction (see here) which has a special focus on Ramban’s fascinating later additions to his commentary, dating from after his arrival in Eretz Yisrael.

As has become commonplace at AlHatorah.org, there are handy educational features to this new section such as the ability to easily see pictures of actual manuscripts of Ramban’s commentary highlighting the development of the text, and an amazing interactive table of the Ramban’s comments where a scholar or layperson can “turn on” or “turn off” the later additions–to understand clearly how the commentary developed.

If you are looking for a great online resource–or you have a student or congregant who would enjoy learning Ramban in depth–we encourage you to direct them to this new resource.
